Emma Tate

Emma Tate

Emma Tate is an award winning British actress and international voice of countless kids, animals, witches and monsters in cartoons, computer games, audio books and tv, such as “Bob the Builder,” “Hellboy,” “Harry Potter,” and “His Dark Materials.” She has worked extensively on stage, including the hit West End musical Blood Brothers and has featured many times on British tv and BBC radio. She continues to record remotely for the UK from her new home in Jonesborough.

John Guerrasio

John’s acting credits include Broadway and West End plays, feature films, TV films for Netflix, Hallmark, BBC, Amazon, National Geographic, and NBC. He has acted with Meryl Streep, Dame Judi Dench, Jeff Bridges, Whoopi Goldberg, Hugh Grant, Robert Vaughn, Judd Hirsch, Dominic West,and Ryan Reynolds among many other notables. John was a leading American actor on BBC radiofor over thirty years. He has “voiced” countless animals, ants and aliens in cartoons and computer gamesand is active in all areas of voice work including voice overs and film dubbing. John wrote and hosted popular programs for The Travel Channel and PBS and has starred in many commercials shown worldwide for top brands such as Coke, Volkswagen, and McDonalds. John was a founding member of New York’s acclaimed Lion Theater and has successfully directed in New York and London. He has taught acting at many of London’s top drama schools including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and The Lee Strasberg Instituteas well as at many US and UK universities and prisons.

Dr. Sheri Bias

Dr. Sheri Bias, SPHR, is currently owner/operator of Liquid Talent Group based in Richmond, VA. She has been involved in the industry for many years with accomplishments of casting for feature films as well as Corporate client productions. Many of her talent were cast in the feature films “To Have and To Hold,” “Field of Lost Shoes,” “Captain Phillips,” “Christmas at the Greenbrier,” and “Trump Prophecies”. She has provided talent to a variety of TV Shows such as “True Terror” “A Haunting,” “Wicked Attractions,” “Into the Wild Frontier: 1700” and “Fatal Attractions” to name a few. Her client list includes such organizations as Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut, GEICO, Bon Secours, NASCAR, YMCA, H2OBX, Tru Green and many others. She has cast projects through out the US.

Dr. Bias has been a senior-level executive in human resources management with over 25 years experience. She has an extensive background in business, and previously led large-scale organizational change efforts for Fortune 100 companies such as Philip Morris USA and Anheuser-Busch. She was a Management Consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers where her primary focus with performance improvement and technology implementations for Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Bias received her PhD from The Fielding Graduate University where she studied a variety of human resources topics focusing specifically on the impacts of diversity and social justice. She possesses an MBA from The College of William and Mary and a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University.

Justin Cunningham

Justin Cunningham is an Arkansas native who knew he wanted to act from a young age. After High School, Justin received his BFA in acting from the University of Arkansas. That ultimately led him to being accepted to the esteemed Drama Division at Juilliard where he graduated with his MFA in 2017.

Justin can currently be seen in the new NBC series, “Grand Crew.” In 2019 he had a leading role for Ava Duverany in the Netflix limited series “When They See Us” based off the true story of the Central Park Five. Prior roles include “Blue Bloods” for CBS amongst a few others. Shortly after graduating, Justin was part of the cast of “King Lear” on Broadway as well. Justin is an avid boxer and has been reinvigorated by that over the past couple of years. By losing weight and gaining muscle, he is also a big advocate for fitness as well as mental health.  Justin also loves to cook and grill when at home.

Scott Trost

Scott Trost is director of the Meisner Institute, dedicated to carrying on the legacy of teaching great, Sanford Meisner.

Trost has taught acting for the last 25 years – including in the US, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, the UK, France, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Egypt and the Philippines.

Trost is an award-winning actor, writer, director and producer. He has extensive stage, film and TV credits including his collaboration on the Oscar-nominated film, Little Surprises. His book about the entertainment industry, All You Need to Know About the Movie & TV Business, was published by Simon & Schuster. He also co-authored the definitive biography of Sanford Meisner, De Tree a We.

In his other life, Trost is a licensed attorney who has dedicated his work to women’s rights, union rights, civil rights and environmental rights. He wrote the first-ever domestic violence legal manual and represented hundreds of domestic violence victims. He authored the book, Mesothelioma: A Handbook for Patients and their Families. He worked with emotionally impaired children and as a suicide crisis and rape crisis counselor.

Trost received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Goodman School of Drama and studied with Anthony Hopkins and other great English actors and directors as a fellow at the National Theatre in London. Trost also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa.
