Chase McGlamery joined Milligan’s staff in 2021 as part of the public relations and marketing office before transitioning to his current role in Student Development in the fall of 2022.

A 2022 graduate of Milligan University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a certificate in leadership, McGlamery held numerous campus leadership positions as a student, including Student Government Association (SGA) President. He also served as a resident assistant (RA) for three years.

A native of Mountain City, Tennessee, McGlamery previously served as communications coordinator for the Johnson County School District. He also served as president of Heritage Hall Theatre, making history as the non-profit’s youngest leader. He was honored for his work with Heritage Hall by receiving the National Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2019 and 2021.

During his time as student, it was McGlamery’s desire to serve and love others well that led to his election as the SGA President in 2021, after serving as the SGA Treasurer in the previous cabinet. One month prior to his graduation, McGlamery, an employee and student, played a large part in helping the campus community process and begin to heal from the tragic death of his classmate and friend Eli Cramer.
