Keith Linville was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. While attending The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, he enlisted in the Army National Guard as an Indirect Fire Infantrymen completing basic training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, GA. He would later graduate from UVA-Wise with a Bachelor’s of Science in Administration of Justice and commissioned as an Ordnance Officer in the Virginia Army National Guard.

Linville currently serves an as S4 for the Army Reserves, 2-100th MP Battalion Headquarters in Nashville, TN. He most recently served as Recruiting Operations Officer at Central Michigan University, the Assistant Recruiting Operations Officer at The University of Kentucky, and as the Assistant Operations Officer at The University of North Georgia.

His military service includes: Indirect Fire Infantrymen, C Co, 1-116th IBCT Christiansburg, VA, Maintenance Platoon Leader G Co 429th BSB Norfolk, VA, Division Maintenance Officer 29th Infantry Division Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Theater Maintenance Officer Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Executive Officer 2112 Transportation Company, Burlington, KY, Transportation Officer, SPO, 103rd BSB, Harrodsburg, KY. S1/S4 OIC, 2-100th MP Det, Inkster Michigan and S4 2-100th Military Police Battalion, Nashville, TN.

Awards include: Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserves Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (w/campaign star), Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with Mobilization (M) Device, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Civilian Service Commendation Medal.
