After serving in two local churches for nearly 30 years, Dr. Ron Kastens came to Milligan in August 2018 to lead Milligan’s new Ministry Leadership Program.
Ron graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Bible from Milligan in 1989. He went on to earn a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. He is a trained Enneagram teacher and certified in the Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales assessment. He is also a member of the Evangelical Homiletics Society.
Ron is an ordained pastor with experience serving churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, and New Hampshire. Following 12 years as an associate pastor at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, Ron became lead pastor of Crossway Christian Church in Nashua, New Hampshire, in 2001. While there, he oversaw the congregation’s growth from 300 to 850 members and the addition of two more campus locations. He currently serves on the board of Christian Missionary Fellowship, Inc.
Ron and his wife, Stacey (’88), have three children, Brennan, Dallas, and Marlee. They live in Johnson City and are involved at First Christian Church in Johnson City.
