Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Holbrook joined Milligan in Fall 2018 to teach mechanical engineering. He holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and post-doctoral training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He specializes in engineering’s impact on communities and aerosol delivery of medical treatments, the latter of which he has published research extensively. His current research on engineering service projects include: clean water in rural communities, using bicycles to accomplish mechanical tasks other than transportation, and providing adapted toys so every child can play (Adaptoplay).
