Focus on the Family holds The Truth Project training event at Milligan

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project™ is coming to Milligan College Feb. 6 and 7. The regional training event will be held in Milligan’s Seeger Memorial Chapel on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In 2006, Focus on the Family launched The Truth Project, the most ambitious project in its history. The two-day training event is a systematic and comprehensive biblical worldview study that looks at all of life. Conferences equip participants to make a Christ-centered difference on culture by applying God’s principles to daily life.

The Truth Project is in response to a survey by The Barna Group, Ltd. According to the study, only nine percent of evangelicals have a biblical worldview, revealing that an estimated 91 percent of professing Christians do not live their lives as though the Bible is real and relevant to them.

“With so few Christians having an accurate biblical worldview, many in the church are living lives that are, in many ways, undistinguishable from lives of non-believers,” said Dr. Del Tackett, president of Focus on the Family Institute and The Truth Project conference host and speaker.

The Truth Project desires to reverse this trend with what will be a deep, foundational transformation within the lives of those who attend. The training event will present attendees with a comprehensive biblical worldview and equip them to lead their own small-group trainings in their communities.

“We believe The Truth Project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ, and we are excited to have the opportunity to share this life-changing program with people around the country,” Tackett added.

Registration cost is $119 per attendee or $149 for attendee and spouse. For more information or to register for the event, visit www.thetruthproject.org/events.
