Complete the FERPA Form
Students can authorize access for their parent(s) to their education records (grades and academic performance, student account and financial aid, student conduct and campus life) and allow oral and written communication with university personnel by completing a FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) form at the link below.
Filling out this FERPA form requires students to log-in to our student portal with their username and password that Information Technology (IT) sends via email once students submit their enrollment deposit. These are the same credentials you will use to log-in to your Milligan email, Canvas learning management system, and the self-service payment portal. If you are unable to find the email, make sure to check your spam or junk folder. If you are unable to locate them, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@milligan.edu.
Complete Academic Testing (if applicable)
- First-time students who must complete the Accuplacer assessment or the Milligan math assessment will receive an email from the Registrar’s office.
- If you’ve taken high school French or Spanish and plan to take language courses at Milligan, take a placement exam to determine the level at which you should begin language study. For more information, contact Dr. Todd Edmondson.
- Students who have completed College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams should have an official score report sent to Milligan for evaluation. Milligan will receive Advanced Placement (AP) scores from the College Board in mid-July for students who requested that their scores be sent to Milligan. Students who did not have their scores sent to Milligan may request a score report here. See page 33-34 of the Milligan catalog for a list of CLEP and AP exams and required scores. Students with AP or CLEP credits will receive an evaluation from the Registrar’s Office.
