Multiply Milligan’s Impact
Students come to Milligan University looking for ways to use their God-given skills for Kingdom-building work. They’ll leave with the tools and resources to do just that. But, for some, the cost of a Milligan education can feel out of reach. That’s why your gift matters. You help us keep college affordable for families of all economic backgrounds, so students are prepared to impact the world for Christ, touching lives and transforming communities.
Success Story
When he graduated from Milligan in 1979, Roger Babik had a degree in business administration and economics. He was well into a telecommunications career when a friend’s call for help inspired him to establish Master Provisions, a nonprofit designed to support people in need. Today, the nonprofit has conducted more than 49 international mission trips. It also serves over 68,000 people monthly, boasting over 200 local partnerships and support for eight international ministries.
Babik was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2022. He is one of many Milligan alumni leaving a lasting legacy. You can leave a legacy, too, when you help students like Babik fund their education.

“The faith community at Milligan was a key factor of my spiritual growth in college. Whether through classes, campus ministries, or relationships with fellow students, my relationship with Jesus has been transformed into a vivid, life-giving relationship.”
Areas to Give
Milligan Fund
The Milligan Fund helps make a Milligan education accessible and affordable. Tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of a Milligan education, but thanks to our generous donors, gifts to the Milligan Fund benefit students directly. This enables them to experience the life-changing mission of the university. Milligan relies on the partnership and generosity of more than 2,000 donors who give to the Milligan Fund each year.
Emmanuel Fund
In the U.S. today, faithful, service-minded leaders often follow God’s call on career paths that pay less than others with similar educational requirements. The Emmanuel Fund addresses this issue by subsidizing the amount required to operate the seminary by nearly $10,000 per student annually. Without this vital support, many of our brightest students would be unable to attend Emmanuel. Your support makes it possible to continue our mission of preparing men and women for effective ministry.
Establish Scholarship Fund
Sponsored Scholarships
Sponsored scholarships allow donors to provide annual support for deserving Milligan students without establishing an endowed fund. The minimum annual gift is $2,500, with a four-year commitment preferred to ensure consistent funding. Donors give an amount that is awarded in full to a student the following fiscal year; for example, a $5,000 gift this year funds a student for the next year. If a donor skips a year, no award is made, and after three years of inactivity, the scholarship becomes inactive. Donations can be designated for specific majors, merit, need-based, athletic scholarships, work study, or grants. For more information view the last section of the Catalog below.
Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships allow donors to provide lasting educational support for deserving Milligan students, with a minimum gift of $25,000. Donations can be made as a single payment or over 3-5 years, but scholarships are typically only awarded once the fund reaches $25,000. The principal is invested, and only a portion of the earned income—usually around 5%—is awarded annually, meaning a $25,000 gift would likely yield an annual award of about $1,250. “Most every professor prays with us before tests. Milligan allows prayer requests to be sent to the community. I have sent in a few for my family’s health issues, and so many people reached out and said they were praying for me throughout the community. It has truly been such an amazing experience at Milligan I could not have chosen a better university to spend these last 4 years!”

Hanna Khuzadi
Engineering | Class of 2027
“Personally, faith was something that drove my interest in Milligan. I would not have considered it if there was no spiritual aspect involved. In addition, my engineering department has the same interest in using the profession to put faith to work in the community. Being able to use my expertise to continue God’s kingdom is the core motivation behind my college education so learning from professors with the same interest is a true blessing for me.”
TYPES OF GIFTS ACCEPTED FOR FUNDING SCHOLARSHIPS
The donor may have special interests for awarding the scholarship that need to be clearly determined and stated in the scholarship agreement. In establishing a scholarship, an attempt should be made to keep criteria as simple as possible.
