Fall commencement on Dec. 8


Milligan College will hold its fall commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. in the college’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. Nearly 100 graduates will be awarded degrees.

The college will continue its new tradition of more student engagement during the program through prayer, scripture readings and remarks given by students to their fellow graduates. Those speakers include Thomas Arbaugh, of Johnson City, Tennessee, receiving a Master of Science in Counseling, and Lindsay Moore, of Powell, Tennessee, earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

The December 2017 graduates include 4 Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), 26 Bachelor of Science (B.S.), 17 Master of Business Administration (MBA), 14 Master of Education (M.Ed.), 10 Master of Science in Counseling (M.S.C.) and 28 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
