MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Sept. 21, 2017) — Milligan College will host Norman Wirzba, professor of theology, ecology and agrarian studies at Duke University Divinity School, on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. He will speak on the topic of Sabbath.
At 5:30 p.m., he will present on “Food and Faith” during the Milligan Honors Program Colloquium in Hyder Auditorium. Both events are free and open to the public.
Wirzba is the author of such books as “Way of Love,” “The Paradise of God” and “Living the Sabbath.” His scholarly work centers on equipping both urban and rural church communities to be more faithful and responsible members of creation.
