Milligan makes finishing business or CIS degree easier

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (May 9, 2017)—Milligan College is now offering more flexibility in its evening programs for adults who want to complete their business or computer information systems degrees.

Adults with some work experience and previous college credit can now start the business administration major at the time that is convenient for them and take a combination of online and face-to-face courses that meet only one night a week.

Previously, students could only begin their business administration coursework in August or February but can now start fall, spring or summer. In addition, students can take as many courses as fit their workload and personal schedule, from one to three at a time. Each course lasts only 8 weeks and more classes are now offered online.

There also is now a program for adults who have little or no college experience. These individuals can work with Milligan’s staff to map out a personalized degree plan for a double major in computer information systems and business. The CIS courses are offered online in the college’s traditional semester schedule, and students can take as many courses per semester as fit their workload. Other courses needed to complete the college’s general education requirements may be a combination of on-campus and online courses.

Tuition for both majors is lower than public university rates and there are no hidden fees. Milligan works with employer tuition reimbursement plans and most students are eligible for financial aid.
