Milligan senior photography explores stable life
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (March 15, 2017)—Milligan College senior Tori Duncan, of Johnson City, Tennessee, will present a photography exhibit titled “Stable” opening Sunday, March 19, with a reception from 2-4 p.m. in the Milligan Art Gallery, located in Derthick Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
Duncan collected images and stories of local horse farm owners and their properties in the Tri-Cities area.
“These horse enthusiasts shared stories of how their stables provided a foundation for their lives,” said Duncan. “Their answers were touching to me as they related to my own passion for horses and the equestrian sport.”
The exhibit features both film and digital photography, in color and black and white. Duncan’s show will run until Friday, March 24, as part of the college’s senior art series this semester.
