Milligan welcomes future ‘Business Buffs’

BuffaloMILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Oct. 22, 2014) — Prospective students interested in studying business at Milligan College can experience a day in the life of a “Business Buff” on Friday, Oct. 31. Registration for “Business Buff” Day starts at 8 a.m. in the lobby of Derthick Hall, and is open to high school juniors, seniors or college transfers.

“Prospective students and their families will be able to get all of their questions answered about the business program at Milligan by interacting with current students and faculty,” said Jason Makowsky, director of admissions. “They’ll be able to sit in on several different business classes in order to provide a glance into the business program at Milligan.”

At 9 a.m., participants can sit in on a corporate finance class by Dr. David Campbell, chair of the business area and director of the Master of Business Administration program. At 11:15 a.m., students can attend a marketing class and, at 11:40 a.m., an intermediate accounting class.

From 9:30-11:15 a.m., participants will attend information sessions on financial aid and admissions.

To finish up their day, students and their parents will eat lunch in the cafeteria and have the option to tour the campus.
