Jennifer Rothschild to speak at 10th annual
Milligan ladies conference

RothschildMILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Jan. 13, 2014) — Jennifer Rothschild will bring her signature wit and down-to-earth style to provide a day of spiritual renewal and study for women at the 10th annual Eleanore L. Campbell Ladies Conference on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Milligan College.

Hosted by Associated Ladies for Milligan (ALM) in partnership with 88.3 WCQR, this conference for women will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel.

The conference is a day for women of all ages to be spiritually fed and recharged through biblical teaching, uplifting music and fellowship with other women from throughout the region.

“Over the past decade, the ALM ladies conference has hosted some of the most sought-after speakers in women’s ministry including Liz Curtis Higgs, Lysa TerKeurst and Jan Silvious,” said Rhajon Smith, director of development at Milligan. “For our 10th annual conference, we are excited to bring Jennifer Rothschild to the Tri-Cities. She has overcome many challenges and used her testimony in a powerful way to motivate and teach.”

Blind since age 15, Rothschild uses her story to minister to women throughout the world. Now more than 30 years later, she boldly and compassionately teaches women how to walk by faith, not by sight. She weaves together colorful illustrations, universal principles and music to help audiences find contentment, walk with endurance and celebrate the ordinary.

Rothschild has authored nine books, recorded several albums and founded the popular online magazine womensministry.net. She is also the featured teacher and founder of Fresh Grounded Faith Conferences.

She has shared her practical and inspiring messages to arena-sized audiences across the country, and media outlets including “Dr. Phil,” “Good Morning America,” “Life Today,” The Learning Channel and “The Billy Graham Television Special.”

Registration for the conference is $35 per person before Feb. 1, and $40 after Feb. 1. Student registration is $20, if received by Feb. 1. A box lunch will be provided. In addition, a special offering will be taken to benefit the ALM Endowment, which permanently provides student scholarships at Milligan.
