‘Acts of Renewal’ to perform at Milligan


Acts_of_RenewalMILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Nov. 5, 2013) — Jim Shores and Carol Anderson-Shores of “Acts of Renewal” will perform at Milligan College on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel.

The married couple will be part of the college’s convocation service at 11 a.m. Their evening performance presents a hilarious look at the challenge of healthy relationships. Both performances are free and open to the public.

Touring nationally and having performed at more than 60 Christian colleges and universities, “Acts of Renewal” brings fresh, engaging theater that connects with the real issues of life. They create and produce outstanding Christian theater that glorifies God and leads audiences around the world toward hope, goodness and a hunger for God.

The pair met in Houston, Texas, while working for the A.D. Players theatre company. Jim received a Ph.D. in communications, a master’s degree in environmental engineering and a bachelor’s degree in theater. Carol received her Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They now reside in Black Mountain, N.C.
