Local minister to speak at Milligan

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Oct. 30, 2013) — Josh Little of First Christian Church in Johnson City, Tenn., will speak in chapel at Milligan College on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

Little serves as the high school student minister at First Christian, where he has attended and served for six years. He graduated from Milligan in 2011 with a degree in Bible and an emphasis in pastoral ministry.

His message, titled “Post-Cynical Christianity,” will focus on the need for Christians to transform their attitudes and the mindset of the church away from cynicism and toward hope.
