MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2012) — The Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy and Milligan College will present a vocal workshop for young men in grades 4-12 on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel.
The clinician will be Vincent Oakes, artistic director of the Chattanooga Boys Choir and director of choral music at Chattanooga’s Baylor School.
The cost is $20, which includes the workshop fee, music, a T-shirt, lunch and snacks. The day will culminate with a 4 p.m. concert in Seeger, showcasing the workshop participants and Milligan’s own men’s group, Heard Mentality. The concert is free and open to the public.
