MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (May 4, 2012) — Milligan College recognized several students for their outstanding work in the college’s annual Juried Art Exhibition.
Awards of Excellence were presented to: junior Mickey Brown of Kingsport, Tenn.; sophomore Sydney Franklin of Louisville, Ky.; junior Monica Fife of Elizabethton, Tenn.; senior Marshall Hardy of Kingsport; senior Daniel Jones of Columbus, Ind.; and sophomore Matt Rees of Redford, Mich.
Awards of Merit were presented to: senior Kelsey Ellis of Bristol, Tenn.; senior Kayla Hatcher of St. Charles, Mo.; sophomore Will Major of Johnson City, Tenn.; senior Emma Rees of Redford, Mich.; sophomore Shannon Wilson of Kissimmee, Fla.; and senior Morgan Simmons of Ashburn, Va.
The exhibition, held April 29-May 4, showcased the year’s best student art, photography, sculpture and digital media pieces. The juror was Becky Hope Mallory, owner of Artopia, a fine art supply store in Johnson City.
