Photography exhibit opens Feb. 5 at Milligan

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Jan. 25, 2012) — “I Am He,” a photography exhibit by Milligan College senior Stephen Feryus, will be on display in the Milligan Art Gallery Feb. 5-10.

The opening reception is Sunday, Feb. 5, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the gallery, located in the lower level of Milligan’s Derthick Hall. It is free and open to the public.

The exhibit is a retrospective of the photographer’s time at Milligan. Feryus, a native of Fallston, Md., is majoring in Bible and photography. His work includes black and white and color photography.

“‘I Am He’ is a mix of 35mm and medium format photographs,” Feryus said. “Through these photographs, I hope to not only provide a look into who I am as a person, but also to show my perspective on the communities that I have photographed over the years, of which the exhibit is a part.”
