Photography exhibit captures stunning Southwestern landscapes

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (April 13, 2010) — “Arizona Summer,” a photography exhibit by Milligan College senior Michael Kaal, opens Sunday, April 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. in Milligan’s Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts. The exhibit, which closes May 1, is free and open to the public.

Kaal, a fine arts major at Milligan, is a native of Gilbert, Ariz. The vivid and peaceful landscapes surrounding his home there provide inspiration for Kaal’s work. The exhibit consists of a series of photographs capturing the splendor of the Southwest, taken by Kaal on an excursion across Arizona last summer.

“I am very proud of my work and of the beauty of the Southwest,” Kaal said.
