Mountain Movers to perform at Milligan

Milligan College, TN (September 14, 2009) — Milligan College will welcome the Mountain Movers Dance Company to the college’s Gregory Center stage on Friday, Sept. 18, for a performance featuring more than 15 dancers. Presented by the Milligan Arts Council, the 7:30 p.m. performance is free and open to the public.

The performance, which will tickle your funny bone as well as move you from the heart, features works by guest choreographers Judith Woodruff and Erin Law, as well as company members Molly Baker Crofts and Jen Kintner.

Founded by Woodruff and Doug Newton in 1982, Mountain Movers Dance Company has been performing in the Tennessee region since that time. The company is now an integrated part of the budding dance program at ETSU and is comprised of both community members and students.
