Milligan sees growth in MBA program

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (May 23, 2006) — Due to the growth in its master of business administration program, Milligan College has announced the hiring of Courtney Kieslich as graduate admissions specialist for MBA recruitment.

Kieslich came to Johnson City from Fayetteville, N.C., where she served as a business computer technology teacher in the Cumberland County School district. She has also served as director of career services at South University in Columbia, S.C.

“The MBA program at Milligan presents an exciting opportunity to further one’s leadership at work, home and the community,” said Kieslich. “I am proud to be a part of a program that provides a Christian framework for its students to further advance their roles of leadership in business.”

Kieslich is a 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and management and a minor in psychology.

The Milligan MBA program is a cohort-based 18-month program designed to prepare students for roles of leadership in business. Classes meet one weekend each month and continue via extensive Internet-based contact with fellow students and faculty between class sessions.

Regional employers represented by current students and graduates include King Pharmaceuticals, Wellmont Health Systems, Mountain States Health Alliance, Eastman Chemical Company, Holston Valley Medical Center and Bank of Tennessee.
