Greg Allen to speak at Milligan chapel service


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (September 27, 2005) — Christian recording artist and Southeast Christian Church worship minister Greg Allen will address students and faculty at the Milligan College chapel service on Thursday, September 29, at 11:00 a.m. in Seeger Chapel.

Allen currently leads worship for several weekend services and special events at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky. Southeast Christian Church is the largest Christian church in Kentucky with an attendance of over 15,000 members.

In addition to leading worship, Allen teaches a class for colleges and other churches in the area entitled, “Foundations for Biblical Studies.” Allen has also been the host for the “Worship Network,” which has aired on PAX-TV since 1999.

Under the direction of Allen, the Southeast Christian Church worship ministry has produced three worship recordings. In addition, Allen has recorded a solo worship CD titled, “Between the Songs,” which includes six original songs accompanied by brief biblical worship teachings.

Allen is a graduate of Milligan College, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in biblical studies. He later attended Southern Seminary where he earned a master of divinity degree. Allen served as youth minister at Southeast from 1983 to 1990 prior to his current position as worship minister.
