Emily Fuller and Lauren Webb to present joint recital


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Nov.18, 2002) – Emily Fuller, violist, of Silver Spring, Md. and Lauren Webb, soprano, of Bristol, Tenn. will present a joint lecture-recital on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m., in Seeger Chapel on the campus of Milligan College.

Fuller is a student of Dr. Kellie Dubel Brown, assistant professor of music.

Fuller is a business administration and humanities double major. She is also a member of the Milligan College String Quartet and has performed with the Milligan College Chamber Orchestra. With these ensembles, she has performed for a number of community and campus functions, and has taken part in numerous concerts.

Webb is a student of John Wakefield, associate professor of music.

Webb is a music and humanities double major. While at Milligan, she has performed in several student recitals on campus and has also sung with the college’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers.

This joint lecture-recital program will feature music of the French Romantic period and will include a lecture component. Fuller and Webb will be accompanied by pianist Rachel Cunningham, a sophomore.
