Rachel Hatfield Dalton presents art show


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Nov. 19, 2002) – Senior Rachel Hatfield Dalton, of Johnson City, Tenn., will present an art show/project Observations: Representations of God’s Glory in Biology in the Milligan College art gallery located in the lower level of Derthick Hall. The show will open this Sunday, Nov. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The 11 piece show, Observations: Representations of God’s Glory in Biology is Dalton’s senior humanities project. A senior humanities project is required of all Milligan humanities majors and the work done is similar to an undergraduate thesis.

Dalton’s show integrates her Milligan education in biology and humanities. She has compiled a booklet for this show to help explain each piece presented.

Dalton is a humanities and biology double major with emphasis in art and English literature. Her minor is in chemistry. She attends Hopwood Christian Church in Milligan College, Tenn. At Milligan, Dalton is involved in the pre-med club, missions club, and teaching English as a second language.

Observations: Representations of God’s Glory in Biology will run from Nov. 24 to Dec. 7 in the Milligan College art gallery. For more information about this show, please contact the public relations office at 423-461-8719.
