The Gilliam Wellness Center offers fitness and workout opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. The 7,100-square-foot center is equipped with cardiovascular fitness equipment, both free weights and a weight machine circuit, an aerobics classroom, and a spinning room equipped with 10 spinning bikes. The center also features seven wall mounted flat-screen televisions, including three that are part of a Nintendo Wii activity area. The center also houses offices of the Campus Nurse, Director of Intramurals and the Coordinator of Wellness and Recreation Activities.
Individuals may need counseling if a problem at school, work, home, or in personal relationships is causing stress significant enough to interfere with normal functioning. Students, faculty, and staff may also pursue counseling for personal growth and development, such as pre-marital counseling or personal wellness.
