Senior Minister

Overview:

The Senior Minister will lead the spiritual, pastoral and administrative direction, together with the Elders and Staff of Christway Christian Church.  This person’s primary responsibility is to lead through prayer, preaching, and teaching, while developing individuals to accomplish the overall mission of our church.

Lead Through Preaching and Teaching:

• Focuses on sound Biblical Interpretation and Teaching.
• Works with staff and worship team to plan the weekend worship experience.
• Preach relevant and challenging messages that lead to life change.
• Provide a focus on spiritual growth, discipleship, and Christian Community.

Lead Our Staff Team:

• Encourage our staff to accomplish the mission of our church.
• Leads staff spiritually and pastorally, while remaining goal oriented and mission focused.
• Leads the team in helping them achieve their individual goals.

Lead Our People:

• Works with the staff to recruit, train, develop, and care for volunteers.
• Develop relationships with the elders, church staff, leaders, members and guests.
• Provides pastoral care and counseling to church members and attendees.

• Be committed to personal excellence in family leadership, church leadership, and community leadership.
• Be committed to personal growth in leadership through continual education.
• Be committed to the tenants of the restoration movement.
