The Admissions Office at Milligan University invites applications for the full-time, non-exempt position of Seminary Admissions Recruiter for Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan. This position is a non-exempt, year-round position with an anticipated start date in June of 2025. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this position manages the recruitment process for all programs at Emmanuel to help achieve enrollment goals for the seminary.
The Seminary Admissions Recruiter assists with the development of a comprehensive recruitment plan that cultivates and recruits students to the seminary. In addition to developing recruitment strategies and meeting recruitment goals, other essential duties and responsibilities include (1) counseling prospective students on the admissions process and financial aid information, (2) engaging in outreach efforts, (3) managing the administrative functions of the seminary admissions office, (4) utilizing campus administrative software and communication tools, and (5) coordinating and attending various events to represent and market the seminary at universities, churches, conferences, and other targeted audiences.
Qualifications: Successful candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred), be an excellent communicator and have interpersonal skills, including public presentations and in oral and written communication, be a self-starter who is goal-oriented with strong work ethic, and optimally, a minimum of 1-2 years related recruiting or sales/marketing experience. Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university. Primary duties and responsibilities would be performed in the office, with the ability to drive to external recruiting opportunities and events. Some lifting required. Occasional work on nights and weekends. Some travel required.
