Lead Minister

We are searching for a new minister. Our current minister is retiring. Responsibilities include Sunday morning sermons, Adult Sunday School and Sunday night bible study classes, producing the Order of Worship bulletin and other administrative tasks, hospital visits including the elderly and those that are homebound, working at Christian Service Camp, community outreach and working with area Christian Church ministers. Jonesboro’s population is 78,000+ with surrounding smaller communities within close driving distance. We are fortunate to be able to provide a parsonage with three bedrooms and two baths, utilities paid, health insurance and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
We are searching for a minister with experience with Independent Restoration Christian Church doctrine. This position is open to men.

We are a rural, Independent, Restoration Christian Church located in the community of Otwell, AR 12 miles south of the greater Jonesboro area. Our worship services are traditional in style with a great song service and strong bible teaching.
On any given Sunday, there will be approximately 70 people in attendance. We have a good youth program with many adult helpers. There is always plenty of opportunities to use the gifts God blesses us with to serve Him.

Currently, the preaching minister is the only person on full time paid staff. We are, however exporing the possibility of adding a youth minister to our staff in the future. We also compensate a person in the congregation to create the power point display for Sunday morning services with a small gratuity. While not a part of the paid staff, our worship leader, pianist and organist have been serving in their respective roles for decades. We also have a tech. support person that operates the power point during services. Our elders get together at our regular meetings. We are a family. We do our best to live life together.
