Rousculp Church of Christ, Lima, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Senior Pastor to lead our congregation into the next chapter of our history. RCC has been serving God and the community of Lima, Ohio area since 1897. The ideal candidate will posses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep commitment to the ministry and knowledge of the Bible. Key Responsibilities
- Preaching, Teaching, Pastoral Care and Leadership
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation, fostering a culture of faith, love and service
- Plan and collaborate with the worship team for special services such as Christmas Eve and Good Friday programs
- Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship
- Work with church leadership to execute vision and strategic plan for the church’s growth and
leadership development - Become the administrator of daily operations of the Church and supervising other staff members to assess and support the needs of the congregation
- Perform other pastoral duties, such as weddings, funerals, and occasional counseling
Qualifications
- Have a servant leader mindset and a shepherd’s heart
- Immersed Believer
- Preferred Educational Requirement: graduate of a Restoration Movement Bible College/Seminary
- Exceptional communication skills and an adaptive communication ability with all generations
- Meet the qualifications of an Elder as set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:7-9
