Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel.

The lectures are free and open to the public. They will also be livestreamed and available on demand at milligan.edu/streaming.

“The Webb Lectures are part of Milligan’s active relationship with the Stone-Campbell Movement and our commitment to that heritage,” said Rhajon Smith, vice president of institutional advancement. “The Webb Lectures are a highlight for our region’s Christian churches and Churches of Christ every year. We are grateful to the Webb family for their insight and generosity in making this lecture series possible.”

The Webb Lectures are named for the late Dr. Henry Webb and his wife, Emerald. Webb served over 40 years at Milligan and was professor emeritus of church history. He was one of the leading historians of the Independent Christian churches. He spent his life promoting Christian unity by helping students, ministers and lay people understand the guiding principles of the Stone-Campbell Movement. This lecture series, funded by his children, is designed to promote a better understanding of Milligan’s restoration heritage.
