MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Feb. 7, 2024) — Milligan University students will welcome their families to campus Feb. 16-18 for Family Weekend, an annual opportunity for parents and siblings to experience university life at Milligan.
On-campus events are planned throughout the weekend, but families are encouraged to visit and explore the Appalachian Highlands as well.
“Family Weekend is the perfect time for the whole family to enjoy campus life together at Milligan,” said Brealle Davis, director of campus activities and campus minister. “Whether it’s walking through our beautiful campus, watching a basketball game or enjoying a meal together, these few days will provide a glimpse into what it means to be a part of the Milligan community.”
On Friday, families can enjoy a family event with their students at 7 p.m. in Milligan’s McMahan Student Center. Families are invited to a reception held for students named to the academic dean’s list on Saturday from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in the McMahan Student Center. Milligan’s baseball and basketball teams will also compete on campus.
