MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Feb 14, 2023) — Milligan University students will welcome their families to campus Feb. 17-19 for Family Weekend, an annual opportunity for parents and siblings to experience university life at Milligan.
On-campus events are planned throughout the weekend, but families are encouraged to visit and explore the Appalachian Highlands as well.
“Family Weekend is the perfect time for a student’s entire family to experience a typical weekend at Milligan,” said Brealle Davis, director of campus activities and interim campus minister. “Whether it’s walking through our beautiful campus, watching a basketball game or enjoying a meal together, these few days will provide an excellent display of what it means to be a part of the Milligan community.”
On Friday, families can enjoy a paint swap party with their students at 7 p.m. in Milligan’s McMahan Student Center. A reception will be held for students, along with their families, named to the academic dean’s list on Saturday from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in the McMahan Student Center.
