Milligan names Gullett new vice president for enrollment

MILLIGAN UNIVERSITY, Tenn. (April 28, 2022) — Milligan University President Dr. Bill Greer announced that Lauren Gullett will become the university’s next vice president for enrollment management this summer, following the transition of longtime administrator Dr. Lee Harrison as she joins the communications area faculty on June 1.

Gullett has served as director of seminary admissions and recruitment at Milligan since January of 2015. She also has recently served as interim head coach for Milligan’s flag football team, which includes undergraduate recruitment responsibilities. Prior to joining Milligan, she was a business owner, marketing account project manager, and a sports and recreation pastor.

“Lauren has been highly effective at increasing enrollment and developing and maintaining positive relationships with external constituencies in her current role with Milligan,” said Greer. “No matter what task she undertakes, she does so with enthusiasm and determination.”

Gullett holds a master’s degree in divinity from Emmanuel Christian Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in science, technology and culture from Georgia Institute of Technology.

“I am so blessed to have worked under the leadership of Dr. Lee Harrison for these past seven years,” said Gullett. “Lee has built a tremendous foundation for enrollment at Milligan that we will continue to build upon. I’m excited to serve the university and lead our enrollment teams in this new season.”

In her new role, Gullett will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies to achieve enrollment stability and strategic enrollment growth for the institution.

Also during the leadership transition, the university’s public relations and marketing office will move to the institutional advancement area and be overseen by Rhajon Smith, who has served as vice president of that area since 2019.
