Milligan 1 Day is April 15

Milligan University’s seventh annual day of giving, Milligan 1 Day, will occur on Thursday, April 15. On this special day of fundraising each spring, alumni and friends rally together to help provide crucial scholarship and program support for Milligan and Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan.

“Milligan 1 Day is a wonderful time to celebrate the incredible education that Milligan has provided for more than 150 years,” said Rhajon Smith, vice president for institutional advancement. “Each year, it’s a fun day full of school spirit as our alumni, friends, faculty and staff, parents, and current students join together to financially support our important mission of honoring God by educating men and women to be servant-leaders.”

This 24-hour online giving campaign allows the university to equip students to lead and serve across a variety of professions. The university will host various challenges and updates throughout the day for the Milligan community.

Students, alumni and friends can enjoy a live performance by the Milligan Concert Choir on Thursday, April 15, at 4:30 p.m. on the university’s Facebook page, as well as a dance-off competition with Brutus, Milligan’s mascot, at 3:30 p.m. on the university’s Instagram account.
