Ward holds a Doctor of Business Administration from George Fox University (2015), a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University (2009), a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University (2003), and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt through the American Society for Quality/Villanova University.
He has published in the Community College Journal of Research and Practice, the Journal of Ethics & Entrepreneurship, the Journal for the Advancement of Developing Economies, and Personnel Psychology. Ward is a peer reviewer for the Management Teaching Review. He is also a member of the Teaching Society for Management Educators.
Ward has approximately a decade of work experience including Quality Assurance Team Leader and NPI Quality Engineer at DENSO Air Systems, Inc. (2007-2011), Quality Assurance Team Leader/Field Supervisor at Quality Industrial Services (2004-2007), and Board Member/Treasurer at the Battle Ground Skate Park nonprofit organization (2014-2015). Ward was also a Professor of Business Management at Kellogg Community College (2011-2016) prior to coming to Milligan College.
Ward attends Grandview Christian Church in Johnson City. He and his wife, Angela, have four children: Leah, Ethan, Aaron, and Evan.
