Chandrea Shell joined the public relations staff at Milligan in 2003 after several years of working in business development, marketing, fundraising, and donor relations. As Director of Public Relations and Marketing, she spearheads the college’s media and community relations efforts, as well as branding initiatives.
Shell recently completed a six-year term on the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where she served as president one year and as part of the executive leadership team for three years. She continues to be involved in the business community through several committees and boards. She also directs the Carter County Youth Leadership program, a component of Tennessee’s Three-Star program to help local communities improve quality of life and grow jobs by educating future leaders. She was recognized in 2010 as one of the “40 under Forty” emerging stars in the business community and is a member of the Tri-Cities Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)
Shell holds both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Milligan College.
