Dr. Tausha Clay holds a Bachelor of Science (1994), Master of Education (2000) and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (2005) from East Tennessee State University. Prior to joining Milligan’s faculty in 2005, she served as a doctoral fellow and adjunct instructor at ETSU. Her past teaching experiences include working as a kindergarten, first grade, multi-age, and fourth grade teacher in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Clay currently serves as Professor of Education and the Paul Clark Chair of Education at Milligan. She is responsible for teaching courses in Child Guidance, Foundations, Curriculum Methods, and Professional Teaching Standards. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she coordinates all student teaching and internship placements. She has made numerous presentations at both regional and national conferences, and has provided in-service trainings for private and local school systems.
