Carter holds a bachelor of science degree (2000) in business administration from Milligan College and a master of science degree (2003) in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix online. Carter plans to seek a doctorate of management from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Prior to joining Milligan’s faculty, Carter taught full-time at Northeast State Community College as head of the computer science department. Since graduation, Carter has served as adjunct faculty in the computer information systems department at Milligan.
The following accomplishments are just a few of the noteworthy changes Carter is initiating in local schools: configuring and implementing mobile wireless labs in the classroom, designing and teaching online computer classes, extensive work on NFS-ATE planning grant, and coordinating the articulation exams for local high schools.
