Debate Team

Do you want to grow as a speaker and leader? Are you interested in current events and public speaking?

Milligan’s Debate Team has a proud history of excellence, with debaters consistently earning high honors at the Tennessee Collegiate Debate Tournament. We invite you to be a part of this dynamic team to grow as an individual. 

Scholarships

Debate Team scholarships are available. To apply, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Available to first-time traditional undergraduate students
  • Award amounts vary and are based on the applicant’s ability and the discretion of the director
  • Awards are participation-based and do not require a specific major

As a team member, you will:
