Nursing Summer Camp

Monday – Wednesday, June 13-15, 9 am to 3 pm

Open to rising freshmen through current seniors (2022) who are considering a career in nursing.

  • Hands-on learning with Milligan nursing faculty
  • Develop skills used by registered nurses every day to care for patients

Participants will:

  • Learn how to assess vital signs, start IVs, give injections, and more
  • Gain knowledge to promote a healthy lifestyle for family and friends
  • Tour area health care agencies
  • Earn CPR certification
  • Discover practice, employment, and advanced degree opportunities in nursing
  • Learn why Milligan nursing grads are highly recruited by employers

You will receive:

  • Nursing skills lab equipment bag and stethoscope
  • Milligan nursing shirt
