Songs for a New World @ Milligan College Gregory Center, McGlothlin-Street Theatre
Oct 24 @ 7:30 pm

Songs for a New World is a collection of independent scene-songs that are unified by the theme of choice.

“It’s about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice… or take a stand… or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make.” As we hear from the captain of a ship in 1492, to the flag maker who has suffered loss, to a mother deciding to create a new life, or a man choosing to take his basketball future into his own hands and get out of the ghetto, this musical explores faith, love, community, and how ordinary people survive extraordinary circumstances.

Tickets will be available at the door and beginning September 26th online and during selected hours at the box office. Beginning this year, all seats will be reserved. All seats $10.
