CMC is proud to bring their 37th season of shows to Milligan College this fall. Nashville’s Contemporary Music Center is a semester long, crash course program that prepares college-age musicians for careers in the music industry while living out their faith as Christ-followers. The CMC’s artists, techs, and business students have worked for months to craft a show ready to entertain audiences. The ten different artists who will take the stage bring a wide variety of styles to fill out the night with music.
Milligan faculty member Dr. Shauna Nefos-Webb speaks for Chapel as part of the series, Relational Waters: Navigating the Relationships You Love (and the ones you don’t).
The Milligan Arts Council presents Ensemble Chaconne as they transport listeners to Shakespeare’s time with Measure for Measure: the Music of Shakespeare’s Plays. The concert will feature songs from As You Like It, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Hamlet, and Othello. Ensemble Chaconne includes Peter H. Bloom, Renaissance flute; Carol Lewis, viola da gamba; Olav Chris Henriksen, Renaissance lute; and Burcu Gulec, mezzo-soprano. The ensemble is based in Boston, MA.
