Chemistry
School of Sciences & Allied Health
The chemistry major prepares students for careers in industry, research, engineering, technical sales, environmental sciences, public health, teaching, and biomedical sciences. Foundational knowledge of physics and math are gained as students concentrate in organic, inorganic, analytical, and physical chemistry, plus biochemistry, quantitative analysis, quantum chemistry, and computational chemistry.
Both the B.A. and B.S., as well as a minor, are available.
