Milligan seeks examples of servant-leadership

Leaders in Christian Service awards

MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Sept. 6, 2023) — Milligan University is now inviting nominations for the 2024 Leaders in Christian Service (LCS) program.

For over two decades, Milligan has recognized doctors, teachers, business leaders and various professionals who exemplify Christian character and service in their churches, careers and communities. In recent years, Milligan has also recognized students exemplifying Christian leadership.

“Milligan’s mission is to honor God by educating men and women to be servant-leaders in a variety of professions,” said Milligan President Dr. Bill Greer. “By recognizing leaders in our community, we provide examples of what servant-leadership looks like on a daily basis to our students and region.”

LCS nominees should display excellence of Christian character; strong Christian example through professional, vocational or volunteer leadership; and evidence of Christian service in the church and community.

Recommendations will be accepted until Nov. 30. The 2024 Leaders in Christian Service ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. The service is free and open to the public.

Nominations forms and more information are available at www.milligan.edu/LCS or by calling 423.461.8708.
