MILLIGAN UNIVERSITY, Tenn. (Aug 16, 2022) — Aaron Woods has been selected as the next director of seminary admissions for Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan, and began serving in this role early August.
In this role, Woods will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Seminary’s recruitment efforts.
“Aaron brings valuable admissions experience along with a tremendous passion for theological education,” said Vice President for Enrollment Management Lauren Gullett. “He shares Milligan’s passion of preparing the next generation of servant-leaders.”
Woods came to Emmanuel as a student in 2012 to earn a Master of Divinity degree, after graduating from Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan. Woods is currently pursuing a terminal degree in Old Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
“My experience at Emmanuel was truly transformative for my life and work as a Christian,” said Woods. “I am excited to share the good news of what God is doing here at Emmanuel as the Director of Seminary Admissions.”
During his time as a student in 2014, Woods began working as an admissions assistant for the Seminary. Since his graduation, he has remained active in education, teaching at the Jerusalem School in East Jerusalem and at Asbury Theological Seminary.
