Milligan Commencement set for Saturday


MILLIGAN UNIVERSITY, Tenn. (April 25, 2022) — Milligan University will hold its spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, April 30, in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. A total of 223 degrees will be awarded, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

The 10 a.m. commencement ceremony will honor 115 graduates of the School of Arts and Humanities, School of Bible & Ministry and the William B. Greene, Jr., School of Business and Technology.

Five students will speak at the 10 a.m. ceremony: Abigail Haagen of Johnson City, Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration; Jonathan Guy, of Vero Beach, Florida, earning a master’s degree in divinity; Chase McGlamery of Mountain City, Tennessee, who is earning a bachelor’s degree in communications with a certificate in leadership; Alexander Mortimer of Johnson City, Tennessee, earning a master’s degree in business administration; and Jamin White, of Louisville, Kentucky, who is earning a master’s degree in business administration.

The 2 p.m. commencement ceremony will honor 108 graduates of the School of Sciences and Allied Health and the School of Social Sciences and Education.

Five students will speak at the 2 p.m. ceremony: Holly Lay of Mountain City, Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science; Casey Luevanos of Jonesborough, Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing; Joseph Fry of Kingsport, Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree in math; Abby Dotson of Johnson City, Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree exercise science; and Ana Upchurch of Monticello, Kentucky, earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
