Milligan commencement on Dec. 13

Inaugural class of MSIS program will graduate

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Dec. 3, 2019) — Milligan College will hold its fall commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the college’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. Over 100 graduates will be awarded degrees.

The commencement service will include the first graduates of Milligan’s Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS). For graduate Jonathan Miller, Milligan’s reputation for excellence and the MSIS program’s competitive cost were the deciding factors for joining the inaugural class. As a current IT security analyst for Ballad Health, Miller has gained a deeper understanding of his profession and critical leadership skills through this program.

“Each class in the MSIS program has helped to shape my professional career and my personal life,” shared Miller. “Milligan has some of the most supportive and understanding instructors. They strive to not only educate and challenge us, but they also motivate and encourage us to believe that we are capable of more than we think.”

The December 2019 graduates include: four Bachelor of Arts, 24 Bachelor of Science, two Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 17 Master of Business Administration, 15 Master of Education, seven Master of Science in Counseling, eight Master of Science in Information Systems, 29 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and one Doctor of Education.

Speaking on behalf of this year’s graduating class will be Isaac and Meredith Robinette, of Kingsport, Tennessee. The married couple will graduate together with Master of Business Administration degrees.

A complete schedule of graduation activities is available online at www.milligan.edu/commencement or by calling 423.461.8681. For those unable to attend, the ceremony will be broadcast live at www.milligan.edu/streaming.
