MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 9, 2015) — Milligan College students welcome their families to campus Feb. 20-22 for Family Weekend, an annual opportunity for parents and siblings to see what college life is like at Milligan.
On-campus events are planned throughout the weekend, but families are encouraged to explore and do some sightseeing in the Tri-Cities area as well.
“Family Weekend provides a great opportunity for a student’s entire family to come get a taste of a typical Buff Nation weekend,” said Kristal Dove, director of campus activities. “Whether it’s Mr. Buff, the basketball games or any of the other events that are planned, these few days will provide an excellent display of what it means to be a part of the Milligan community.”
While not required, visitors may register at a table co-hosted by Milligan’s Student Government Association (SGA) and Parent Council in the McMahan Student Center on Friday, Feb. 20, from 3-6 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m-12 p.m. Parents will receive an information packet as well as a special gift.
