MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (April 12, 2013) — Two Milligan College students were recognized for their participation in the 20th Annual Blue Ridge Undergraduate Research Conference at Lincoln Memorial University (Harrogate, Tenn.).

The Blue Ridge Undergraduate Research Conference invites undergraduate students from institutions throughout the Southern Appalachian region to present their research projects in a high-quality, low-pressure forum at minimal cost.

Megan Guerra, a junior psychology major from Paoli, Ind., presented a project titled “Strategic Caring: The Consumer’s Response to High and Low Involvement Products Using Cause Related Marketing.” She earned an “outstanding presentation” award.

Anneke Snyder, of Brownsville, Texas, presented “Himmler’s Lebensborn Program.” She is a senior double majoring in English and history.

This conference is not the first time these students have been recognized for their good work at Milligan. In addition, Guerra and Snyder are part of the Appalachian College Association grant project awarded to Milligan students to help Latino students be better prepared for graduate studies.
